ADVISORY COUNCIL
The Cultural Policy Hub Advisory Council is a consultative body that supports the Hub in developing its strategic direction, achieving its mission and assessing its impact. Made up of nice individuals from a range of backgrounds and regions, the Council includes artists, creators, researchers and policymakers across the arts, culture and heritage sector and creative industries in Canada. The Council serves as a connector and advocate for the Hub across many communities. It supports the Hub’s leadership by participating in planning and strategic development and by supporting impact assessment and program evaluation processes.
The inaugural Advisory Council was formed in the summer of 2025 and includes nine influential leaders, policymakers, researchers and artists/creators from across Canada. Members have been invited to serve for one- or two-year terms.
The Hub plans to issue calls to fill vacancies on the Council as they arise. We are currently recruiting and welcoming expressions of interest from Indigenous artists, cultural workers, academics, policymakers or community members who want to contribute to our work. If this you, please get in touch with us at: culturalpolicyhub@ocadu.ca.
